Festival of the Tiny Ornaments 2019 — It may be the holiday season, but it is also Star Wars season! On the eve of the release of Rise of Skywalker, the artists of Camp Pencil Point partake in some festive Star Wars art. Joe Foo and Emily are joined by the sinister Darth Miker as he draws his Tiny Ornament.
Join us for the Festival of the Tiny Ornaments and make some fun gifts for your friends and family. Pull out your shrink plastic and pencils! Draw, sketch and create some festive decorations of your own!
This year, the artists will play Sketches from a Hat! We have collected several “odd” phrases from Camp PencilPointers from appearances and social media. All of the phrases went into a hat and one is blindly selected to to draw. This week, Darth Miker selected “Bring me coco and the wookie.” Next week, Emily will select her phrase to draw!. You can draw along with all of the artists of Camp PencilPoint. There are two phrases each week for you to draw from.
This year, we are using shrink plastic, but feel free to use any materials you feel comfortable with. If you choose to use shrink plastic, Drew T Drawtopus tells you where you can find some. Also, for safety, please follow all the manufacturer’s directions on the package and use proper supervision when using the oven.
Emily and Joe Foo create their own ornaments in future videos, so subscribe to their YouTube channel, follow Camp PencilPoint on Instagram and Facebook and keep checking out camppencilpoint.com for more fun!
And if you draw your own festive ornament, post your art to social media and use the hashtag #CAMPPENCILPOINT. The artists of Camp PencilPoint find it, they will award you the Festival of the Tiny Ornaments badge!
