Otter House Activity— Once again tonight we go for the gold… Pokemon gold! Joe Foo draws the number one Pokemon… number one on the Pokedex that is. He is Bulbasaur! First, he shows off his original sketch, then he shows you how to draw this Pokemon using simple shapes! Can you draw a Bulbasaur using a square and eight circles? Of course you can!
You can view Joe’s original sketch on his Instagram feed.
We are going gold in this video to raise awareness for childhood cancer. This video is dedicated to the survivors of this terrible disease, those currently in the battle and those that we have lost. A little bit goes a long way, whether it is through donating money to find a cure or donating your time to make someone feel a little bit better. Share some love with someone who may need it.
This video is an Otter House Activity and we are working with simple shapes. This give beginners a fun opportunity to jump on. It also provides artists with a bit more experience a chance to have fun and try to push their drawing a bit further. Have fun as you draw and make it your own! As always, if Joe is drawing too fast, feel free to pause, rewind or rewatch the video!
Joe Foo uses a blue Prismacolor marker for his gesture drawing and a Zebra brush pen for the finished line.
If you have any questions, post to the comments on the YouTube channel, or find Joe Foo or Drew T Drawtopus on Instagram (links below).
