Sketching Tips: Pineapple Mermaid
Based on Rubi’s suggestion, I drew a Pineapple Mermaid. Using the simple shapes of cones and spheres, I built a basic structure for the character. Once this structure was solid, I added the fun details. In the next Sketching Tip, I will take the same 10 simple shapes and create a different character… of Rubi’s choosing.
Let’s see what you can do! Take these simple shapes and show us your Pineapple Mermaid. Or, take these simple shapes and show us your own creation! If you show off your art on social media, use #camppencilpoint so we can see what you have drawn!
Thank you for stopping by and joining us! Until next time, remember to draw at least 15 minutes every day to keep your drawing skills sharp. Support the arts and support your favorite artists through purchase, compliments or a conversation. Most importantly, never stop creating and never stop inspiring! See you next time!
